Method
 

  1. Preparation:
    Gather all the necessary ingredients and equipment.
    Preheat your skillet or grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Cook Bacon:
    Place bacon slices in the skillet or on the grill.
    Cook until crispy, flipping occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes.
    Remove bacon from skillet or grill and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.
  3. Form Patties:
    Divide the ground beef into 5 equal portions.
    Shape each portion into a patty, ensuring they're slightly larger than the hamburger buns.
    Season both sides of each patty with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook Patties:
    Place the burger patties in the skillet or on the grill.
    Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or adjust cooking time according to your preference.
    In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt
  5. Warm Buns (Optional):
    If desired, lightly toast the hamburger buns on the skillet or grill for about 1-2minutes.
  6. Assemble Burgers:
    Place the cooked burger patties on the bottom half of each bun.
    Top each patty with 2 slices of bacon.
