  • 7 pcs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 pcs eggs, beaten
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or olive oil.
  2. In a shallow dish, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another shallow dish, beat the eggs.
  4. Take each chicken breast and dip it first into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.
  5. Then, coat the chicken breast with the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the coating to the chicken.
  6. Place the coated chicken breasts onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Once all the chicken breasts are coated and on the baking sheet, lightly spray the tops with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil. This will help the crust become golden and crispy.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy.
  9. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
