Ingredients
  

  • 8 Slice whole grain bread
  • 4 Piece large Eggs
  • ½ Cup Milk
  • 2 scoops of protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
  • 1 Teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing the pan
  • Toppings of your choice: fresh berries, sliced bananas, Greek yogurt, nut butter, maple syrup, etc.

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, protein powder, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  2. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish to make dipping easier.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking spray or butter.
  4. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides evenly.
  5. Place the coated bread slices onto the skillet or griddle and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  6. Once cooked, transfer the Protein French Toast to a plate.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite toppings such as fresh berries, sliced bananas, Greek yogurt, nut butter, or a drizzle of maple syrup.
