- Prepare Ingredients:In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 pound of ground beef with salt and pepper to taste. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties.In a separate bowl, mix together 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 1/4 cup of diced pimentos, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder, and salt and pepper to taste to make the pimento cheese spread.
- Preheat Grill or Skillet: Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook Burger Patties:Place the burger patties on the preheated grill or skillet. Cook for about 5-7minutes on each side, or until the burgers are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- Toast Burger Buns:While the burger patties are cooking, you can optionally toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- Assemble Burgers:Once the burger patties are cooked, place each patty on a toasted bun. Top each patty with a generous amount of the prepared pimento cheese spread.
- Add Toppings:Optionally, you can add lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, or pickles on top of the pimento cheese spread.
- Serve:Serve the Pimento Cheese Burgers hot and enjoy!
